This is such a bizarre concept. Although advertised to such a small audience over the meat counter, the prop of the fake (hopefully) hand being exhibited as meat, with a price pick attached, but instead promoting the detective series Dexter instead of a price is uncannily clever, in that it will remind you to watch or discover the series of Dexter, about a forensic profiler by day and vigilante by night. However there is a risk that it will put people off purchasing the meat on the stall. The same concept could be used to promote Thomas Harris best seller Silence of the Lambs etc. I think this is a 50/50 situation where it can work to the benefit of the TV series, but a hindrance to butcher's stall.
Anybody fancy a hand sandwich?
